Making The Bracelets

I have always had a joy and fascination with colour, and when I began making bracelets, I realised that I had found my passion and craft.

I weave my bracelets on a loom in a traditional and quiet process that takes time.  My beads are made of glass and are sourced from a firm which is reputed to make the finest quality seed beads in the world.  Often, they are covered in real gold and silver to add sparkle and gleam.

I work using a pattern that I have designed beforehand.  My designs are inspired by everything and anything and I often draw my ideas from historical classics from around the world which are still visually startling and immediate.  I also love the Art Deco period and spend many happy hours researching and creating new ‘takes’ on this style aesthetic.

I aim to create modern classic bracelets which still reach us with their design, purity of form and clean lines.  There is something special about owning and wearing a piece of art that has been handmade for you and is not found anywhere else.  I hope you get to enjoy one!
